Client Assistance and Referral Service: One of this agency's primary functions is to assist clients by providing programs, support services, equipment and facilities, either directly or through referral to other service agencies. This service is partially funded by United Way of Central Florida. |
| Sign Language Interpreting Services: CFDS coordinates sign language interpreter services to facilitate communication between deaf and hard of hearing individuals and hearing persons for a fee to comply with Title I, II and III of the Americans with Disabilities Act which requires equal access for sign language users. | Information and Referral: CFDS offers information and referral to resources linked to hearing losses at the local, state and national levels. |

| Advocacy: CFDS acts as an advocate for the deaf, hard of hearing and late-deafened adults to ensure that their rights, guaranteed under the ADA, are upheld. |

Deaf Awareness/Culture Training: The Center offers training and presentations for community groups, schools and employers on deaf awareness, deaf culture and effective communication. |

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): CFDS provides training to community members in understanding their roles and responsibilities under the ADA to ensure equal rights and opportunities for all disabled. |
